The Hierophant: What is one rule or law your muse would never break?
Senseless murder. Deran has done a lot for his family, especially within their business together, but it would be hard for him to take a life just to show some power. His father was relentless when it came to that. When his father was in the belly of the beast, he insisted on being a shark, devouring everything when they made even the smallest mistakes. Killing was something he didn’t think about, but Deran could never get his hands dirty in that way. Not without a concrete reason.
Justice: What’s something your muse has been dying to admit or confess?
That he’s having an affair with @mrutherford. He’s thought to tell his wife on many occasions but becomes consumed with nervousness each time. This has started to become increasingly difficult because he thinks he might be developing feelings for Meredith slowly but surely.
Temperance: Would your muse remain calm despite the worst circumstances?
Deran is the expert at a pristine poker face. Over the years, he’s mastered a particular reaction in the face of most horrible circumstances. Despite it being mastered, it’s still genuine. He becomes stunned quickly, speechless, which seems calm from the outside looking in. But on the inside, he’s screaming into his hands. In worst circumstances, that’s exactly how he’d react. He does what he needs to do, takes cares of the details, and once he’s alone he screams at the top of his lungs and breaks some things.
