Actually it’s a really sweet story! And a slow burn too!
we went to the same high school together, and in year 8 she got moved into my form!! so me being shy and awkward I never attempted to make a move because she was (as she still is) the coolest, hottest and most amazing person ever :3 surprisingly, she liked me too and I was too naive to tell :p
we ended up meeting up after we had left school, but we weren’t in the right headspace to make it last and we got cold feet, so we ended things there and lost contact for probably close to 3 years maybe?? I was still lowkey obsessed with her, and spent basically every night losing sleep wondering what I could’ve done differently and bla bla bla
Thankfully, in a weird way, I actually got diagnosed with a condition, and had to go to and from doctors and hospitals, and in one of the doctors I went to, she basically appeared out of nowhere and came to talk to me, after 3 YEARS of no contact!!
After reconnecting we were speaking again like nothing happened, and one thing led to another, I somehow managed to be in love with the person I craved more than anything! And that pretty much sums it up :3
TLDR; she hot and I’m lucky
