Okay but yesterday I watched the live stream of the power vidcon panel and can we talk about how (idk who) but someone addressed him as Mr.Howell.
dan....i know you’re on here looking at the aftermath of what you’ve done....i see you...
May 2000: Well, I’m sitting in my room again
Bored. Nothing to do but sit and wait for mom’s friends to go the hell home so I can go on the computer or get a snack or something.
I’m just sitting and listening to music and contemplating whether or not I should quit Shop Rite. I picked a damn bad time to want to quit. I get a ticket, well 2, for $88, I owe $100 for car insurance, and I want extra $ for clothes and CD’s and whatnot.
Ok, so that’s $188 mandatory. (next paycheck and change would cover that).
Then, graduation money would be plenty for myself for at LEAST a month, giving me a buffer to just relax for a month.
Now, just how to quit. And when…
I’ll explain to Howell first. I’ll say something like “Mr. Howell, I’m not going to want to work for the summer so I’m gonna give my 2 weeks today.” And he will be weird about it, as he always is, but I can take it. I can take Patricia and Rudolph and Francis getting pissed. I won’t mind, so what am I waiting for?
On Tuesday, I will do it. I will give 2 weeks and that’ll be that. And the shit I take will be nothing compared to the freedom I feel when I’m finally released. I’m apprehensive, but I think it’s time to take control of my life again.
