just like Mr. Soft, this game even says the name of the game it’s based on/ripping off! (it mentioned Patapon in the beginning of its bio, like Mr. Soft did) the only difference if that the two games come from a different company/studio/whatever

why does it highkey make me think of if Cookie Run (specifically Kingdom) and Patapon had a baby..

fun fact: Bonbin Chois is a wordplay (bonbin) on French's "Bonbon" (meaning candy). Chois doesn't mean anything i think. it just means plains in Mr. Soft language.☹️

Mabri/Indigo (like i said in the previous blog about my Mr. Soft character remakes) can see enemies from all directions due to having 6 eyes.

Ebky/Apricot's eyes can glow in dark places (think caves or something)

and featuring the turquoise one/the 7th Softie!! she multiplies or makes decoys of herself so the enemies go after the decoy/copy instead of HER. it depends on how many turnips you have for how many copies she can make

alt version of turquoise's ability: depending on how many turnips you got prior to doing the ability, the decoy will look more believable. if you have 0 turnips, the decoy won’t look believable at all, and the enemy will STILL go for you. if you have 1-5 turnips, the decoy will look a little more believable and will have the enemy's attention for a while. if you have 6-10 turnips, the enemy will be distracted by the decoy until other enemies (undistracted) chase after you. if you have 11-20 turnips, the decoy will look EXACTLY like the turquoise Softie and get the attention of ALL enemies near turquoise.

if you can’t read my handwriting, i’ll just list out the abilities here:

Bikomi (gray softie) plays dead to deter enemies that could potentially eat him.

Kebi (scarlet softie) grabs onto dangling objects like vines with her "ears".

Bermiao (maroon softie) disguises as a turnip to deter Softie-eating enemies (i know she kinda does the same thing as Bikomi but she needs a turnip to do it longer).

Pazdes (lime softie) grabs far-up Bruzzies (their versions of Pickories) with their tongue.

and also the only new one with a name currently (ft. the other one with no name):

Mabri (indigo softie) is able to see enemies in all directions (idk if this would imply that the others can't see for SHIT), and he WILL alert the player with a chitter-like sound if an enemy is near

the other one's eyes glow in dark locations.

the "species" shown in Mr. Soft is a different, but similar-looking species from the LocoRocos. (i nicknamed them "Softies" but i'm still thinking of an actual name for their species)

the Softies have their own language, and each "subspecies" has their own special ability (like grabbing onto dangling objects with their antennae/ears, or disguising as a turnip to deter enemies that eat them).

they live on a different planet from Euphoria.

the "Turnip" is basically the Mr. Soft version of a Berry (but it doesn't make Softies multiply, it makes them able to do their ability for longer if they're the one that's able to disguise as a turnip or something else).

there's no Mr. Soft version of Togehs or Nyokkis because i think that would've made it more of a copy of LocoRoco than it originally was

also other facts that aren't about the lore

i typed this while trying to finish my drawing of 4 of my "redesigns" of the Softies

according to a translation of the game i once did, i think it said something about the Softies being like cats (if i remember correctly), but i said "fuck that" and made it worse

i'm keeping the fucking soccer ball from the original Mr. Soft and using the excuse "the Softies think that soccer ball is one of them"
