One of his favourite dates had come, the day Cedric could spoil his sister in his own way and also, teasing her for becoming older. Through the years it had become a tradition to leave that date completely free for the purpose of celebrating Willa’s birthday, even if she would be busy, Cedric would halt anything he had for the chance to be with her during such lovely day.

So he prepared everything, lunch at his place with her favourite food from her childhood. Both of them had to still work on that day, but at least, they would still enjoy each others company. Along the lunch he made, there was also a birthday cake, ordered and provided by Black Forest Bakery. “Alright, all done.” Cedric was happy with the preparations and waited for her excitedly, glancing at the two gift boxes resting on the coffee table in front of the couch. The man acted as excited as child, proud of the surprise he pulled for his little sister. His excitement got the best of him and Cedric reached for his phone to text Willa.

loren’s eyes haven’t fully lifted to the stranger’s face or he’s already smiling, something warm and reassuring that gains a hint of a smirk when their eyes meet.

“not particularly, no,” he admits, easily letting his eyes go over the lady by his side. she seems young, though not so young that he should be worried about it. it helps as well that they’re currently in a bar where he doesn’t think anyone under the legal drinking age is allowed to enter anyway.

Christmas Sentence Starters: Accepting!  The god grinned at her response - he had hoped she would enjoy it. They’d been working together for a while now and he’d thought they became close enough for him to understand what kind of interests she had. “ I thought you might. I saw it in the store and it screamed “willa!” at me. So...merry christmas~”

He sighed, looking into the mirror. Fluffing out the skirt and smoothing and wrinkles he shook his head. It didn’t look right, I mean was a maid costume ever supposed to look right on someone more masculine presenting? Perhaps if it was custom made - his biceps wouldn’t be getting cut off due to the shoulder cuffs. And why was the underskirt or whatever it was called so itchy! Pulling at the fabric he tried to adjust it, but it just made it worse. Somehow it even made his underwear worse and ride up more, but that was for sure going to stay. 

Grumbling, he grabbed his helmet and headed out to the parking lot. He had to take off the little cap to put the helmet on. It was really tempting to tell Willa that the hat got lost in the wind, but he knew that she wouldn’t go for that. He felt the flapping of the fabric in the wind- cursing at himself for not just changing at the shop. He was not dressed for the slide in this outfit- that was for sure.

Kanna had just been walking home from The Pits, listening to a podcast and trying to figure out what she would have for dinner, when she happened upon a scene that made her slow her pace. At first, she was inclined to just mind her own business and walk right on past - it could have been a simple couple’s spat, after all. But then the guy suddenly back-handed the petite woman with him, and that was that.

She was on him in an instant, her fist colliding with his nose with a satisfying crunch. Just that was enough to send the coward stumbling down the street, whimpering about his bloodied nose. “An asshole and a pussy! Wow, you’re a real winner!” She shouted after him, watching him until he was out of sight before turning to make sure the girl was alright.

Khonshu had taken ownership of the Sakura shortly after he arrived at Mount Phoenix. The place needed some upkeep but it wasn’t too bad. Cleaning here and there hopefully to return to a night life place once again. Granted it was harder than what he had assumed: ordering stock,  keeping track of what they have in stock, how to profiteer everything, how to hire and keep staff. It was a tough gig, and money that the cafe wasn’t bringing in so it needed to come from his pocket. 

The day arrived when he had hired his first maid, Willa. She seemed presentable, interesting and skilled and that’s all he could ask for. He had gone through training for himself to be able to serve alcohol to patrons, as well as food safety for anything that they may provide. It wouldn’t be too much, just like trail mixes and what not but still everything has an expiry at some point. He ordered the first bulk as they were opening soon, lots of drinks, alcoholic and non, of course. The snacks were arriving too, so it was a big order. 

Asking Willa to arrive a few hours earlier than when they were set to do their hard opening, he promised she would get extra pay for the work, but only this time as it was the very first time they have an order and he had no idea what to do.
