MPA Day is coming up on August 1 so I've been seeing a lot of "Save the Date" images across my feeds. Even though the day has only been celebrated for the past five years, starting originally in South Africa, it's now recognized and celebrated around the world with various activities and educational platforms including the UN Ocean Decade.
