We rewatched the "My Bloofy Valentine" remake tonight. It's been since not long after it's release since we've seen it.
Yeaaaaah, the original is definitely so much better! I'm sorry, Jensen isn't enough for me to overlook those effects lol They didnt age well. But then again they just had to cater to a 3D gimmick. I never much cared for that. And the story is about as cliche as can be. What makes the original so good IS the swerve at the end. The thing you don't see coming. And those practical effects were so good!
But, the remake isn't terrible. It's just "meh" in comparison. Definitely still give it a watch if you're interested. But watch the original as well.
Lars and the Real Girl is so good.
