i know the topster format is mostly for adding 25 things, and usually i've done a list of 25 albums too, but i only have it at my top 20 this year. i feel like it was kind of a weird year and i didn't really listen to as much music as i wanted to, plus out of everything i listen to it just felt like kind of an off year for music and i didn't hear a lot i really liked and connected with outside of the albums on this list. i'm sure i missed a lot of great stuff, but i'll probably find it in a few years time and kick myself for not listening to it earlier. AND i didn't want to have to make myself randomly add a few other albums i didn't actually listen to very much just for the sake of filling up the chart. 20 is a very normal number and i am not a music critic so i don't know why i wrote all this.
