GENERAL

-I do NOT engage with racism, transphobia, homophobia, etc. If you come to me trying to convince me to hate a minority, you're on the wrong side of tumblr, and on the wrong blog. Leave or be blocked (and I am quite liberal with the block button, I have no qualms about walking away from ignorance, permanently)

-On that note: I'm a polyamorous, pansexual, non-binary. Yes, I will answer Asks in good faith, but I'm not stupid: you get one shot at reacting to my answers before I will *know* if you're asking in good faith; I have been on the internet and around the block. Go troll someone less tired because I will protect my safe space (my blog) and energy

-The block button is a boundary and it's one I believe in. If you block me or vice versa, then: communication will not continue, no hard feelings, have a good day, and I wish you well, full stop

-I consider this a learning/teaching blog. If I post, reblog, or give links that are uninformed, wrong, or from sources that are questionable, Please tell me. I am not perfect and I would hate to ever be accused of it; knowing this, I understand that it's likely mistakes will happen and I would much rather be told then continue in ignorance

-Anonymous Asks will stay on, but I have no qualms about turning them off; this blog is for fun and I will protect my fun

CONCERNING WRITING ADVICE

-I only beta for mutuals and friends, especially works that are over 1500 words--if it's less, we can chat about specific places or concerns, but I do not want to be anyone's unpaid editor

-My advice is only that: advice. I will talk about grammar rules when that applies, but most of what I want to chat about concerning writing will be things that have no hard or fast rules: things like themes, the content and concentration of purple prose, character arcs, etc. All that to say: my advice is a suggestion

-I am trying to be a published author, but I am a fierce defender of fandom and fandom spaces; in that regard, I am a multi-shipper, and I am a fan of some of the older ways of doing things: Ship and Let Ship, Squick, and other terms are likely to show up when I talk specifically about fanfic.

-I will not engage in 'pro vs anti' debates. The topics that covers requires too much nuance to be divided the way the community has, and if anyone wants to talk about that, please go elsewhere: this blog is not about that, and I will just block anyone who doesn't respect my boundaries on this

CONCERNING TAROT/ORACLE READINGS

-I DO NOT solicit! This means I will not go into any private messenger to try and sell you a reading. If anyone claiming to be me does that, feel free to block or ignore them (or report them). If you want a reading from me, *you* will be the one asking for one, paid or unpaid, full stop

-Reading can be requested either through my ask box or by dming me; I will go over my prices if the both of us agree that it's a reading that requires more than one or two cards (spreads will cost money--I have a collection of tarot decks and an obsession with collecting them that must be fueled lol)

-Asks that I feel can be answered with one or two cards will be answered for free if I choose to engage with the question or ask

-On that note: I will soon (or already do) have my suggested prices/readings posted. If you ask for a 10 card spread for free, I'll assume you didn't read that post and I'll just delete the ask/ignore the dm request

-I do readings to fund my obsessive collecting of tarot/oracle decks, so this is literally for fun, and therefore, I do NOT promise to read for every Ask, or every request

-I do NOT do love readings. If your reading has things pop up in it, fine, spirit takes the lead on that, but I do not like advising people about their love lives

-In that vein, I do NOT do soulmate readings, even platonic ones

-I am a flexible reader: if you do not believe in 'spirit' or 'spirit guides' or anything spiritual, I still believe tarot and oracle cards can help on a more psychological level. I am not saying I'm a therapist or psychologist, because I am not. I am saying that the symbolism in the cards may help you think about your problems in a different way or from a new perspective, no spirits or spiritual energy required.

-To state more clearly from above: I reserve the right to engage with the Asks/Questions I want to engage with, full stop. If your ask or Question goes unanswered, there are likely one of two reasons: 1) I do not want to pull cards for the question/ask; 2) I simply don't have the time or energy. This does not mean your question shouldn't be answered; it means I'm not the right reader for you.
