Dr. Baxter Stockman, one of the biggest genius of the world, created 'aliens' out of chemesty that had a remote control signal, robtos that could trash everybody (except for 4 teenager), powerful mech suits and robots that could bite their way through every material that also...
Log Entry 42:
The field test with the Mousers went mostly as planned. However, there appear to be a few bugs to work out before I market them. Mouser B keeps tugging at me as if it were a needy puppy and instead of catching a rat as programmed, Mouser C curiously retrieved a slice of pizza.
Since I have the insanity of a manatee, I dug through all the Baxter and Z drawings I’ve posted here compared to all the drawings I’ve had and found the difference. (Atleast ones I don’t think I’ve posted, it’s so hard to tell it gets buried)
In other terms, I have such a huge pile of Baxter and Z drawings I’m gonna try to post as many ones I haven’t yet!! Because, I love sharing my gay fly computer propaganda, and also, and more importantly, for any others out there who were like me who were so so desperate for any scraps of these characters. So letsa go!
Starting with some pretty early drawings some of which I digitalized later. These are from 2023 wowza!!
School doodles!
And some particularly computerbug flavored ones
Alas, mobile tumblr only allows 10 images per post. But maybe I shall post more tomorrow MUAUAHAHHAHA

Magic The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Part 5 (21/01/2026) - Red Rares & Mythic Rares
Aaaaand the Red rares and mythics! Let's get going, starting with Broadcast Takeover!
5 mana sorcery to gain control of all artifacts your opponents control until end of turn. Untap them and they gain haste until end of turn. I... don't see this happening anywhere. This is a trauma response card to people playing stompy artifact decks against you. Like, I like the flavor of it, but... it's not good. There are creature equivalent cards to this that are way better, since creatures are generally in every deck to some degree. Artifacts? Not as much, since a lot of artifacts are utility more so than something to kill with. Honestly not recommended for either 60 card or commander.
Next up, Casey Jones, Vigilante!
Our 2nd Casey Jones card, neat!
3 mana for a 4/3 is above rate, but not hugely so. His ability is that whenever he enters, you draw three cards. At the beginning of your next upkeep, discard three cards at random. That's interesting. Basically means you have a turn to use those 3 cards, though not with full mana. I'm not sure how good this will end up being, because you aren't able to ever cast those cards at full mana, unless you save your instant (and flash) cards for your next upkeep in response to this trigger.
And with that said, hard to say how good this will be in any format. As your commander... no. It has an ETB and then doesn't do anything. In the 99 of a commander deck and in 60 card formats... Man, it's really hard to say. If this was when he enters and when he deals combat damage, this could've been great, but only on entery is rough. Does mean that he basically has done the thing when he does enter, though, so that's nice.
Next up, Cool but Rude!
I'M NOT ANGRY ABOUT LEADER'S TALENT NOT COMMITTING TO THE BIT. NOPE, NOT AT ALL. Also, this art is so sweet. Raphael just throwing a pizza in a Foot Soldier's face is so good, this is exactly the type of fun I wanted the set to have with this stuff. Credits to Lordigan!
So another Class. Let's get into it:
2 mana for whenever you attack, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card. This is already really good. Consistent draw is great and if you can get discard synergies going, this gets way better.
2 more mana to level it up to level 2 and get whenever you discard a card, this Class deals 2 damage to each opponent. So 4 mana for consistent discards and to have every discard become a burn effect. That's really REALLY good. You can keep it at this and you will be more than happy with this.
2 mana once more to level it up to level 3 and get that whenever this Class becomes level 3, search your library for a card, put it into your hand, shuffle and then discard a card at random. This... is by far the weakest part of the class imho. It is a good tutor, but with the random discard since Red isn't supposed to be about consistency. This I can get behind, but you have ultimately dumped 6 mana to get this. However, it is a nice cherry on top and the discard does trigger the level 2 ability, so hell yeah.
Let's start with 60 card formats: potentially. 4 mana spread out over 2 turns is potentially interesting enough to make this play a role in your deck, especially since mass discarding does trigger the level 2 multiple times since it doesn't say "discard one or more cards." That on top of consistent card draw... it might actually make it into 60 card formats. For commander, all that still applies and is in fact even better. 2 damage per card discarded is actually a solid amount of burn damage. And the level 3 might get triggered! Every so often! Honestly, this might be seen in Red+ decks somewhat consistently and with discard synergies even more so.
Next up to bat, Improvised Arsenal!
2 mana for an equipment and 1 to equip. It's abilities are:
Equipped creature gets +1/+0 for each artifact you control. So that's kind of neat, but it does mean you really want to go into artifacts of some kind, though most likely Equipment.
For 5 mana, you create a token that's a copy of this Equipment. Good mana dump that you can do on instant speed. Get like 3 copies and you are getting +16/+0 just from Improvised Arsenals.
It's a really fair Equipment that pays equip costs, so it won't ever see use in 60 card format. Simple as that. MAYBE if artifact decks become great and you can just use this as just another artifact that happens to give a huge power buff to your evasive creature. In commander, any Equipment heavy deck with Red in it can at least use this. More regular artifact heavy decks might use it, but I'm not confident on that unless this is the "in case of emergency, hit people in the face" button of such a deck.
Up next, Raphael, Ninja Destroyer!
Raphael being Red is entirely accurate. He's hot headed and has a lot of big emotions. He's Red to a tee.
4 mana for a 4/4 is right on rate, so neato. His abilities are:
Raphael must be blocked if able. He's a grade A problem. Slap some evasiveness on him or Double Strike and make it as inconvenient for your enemies to block him. Though... maybe not too inconvenient, because...
Whenever Raphael is dealt damage, add that much {R}. Until end of turn, you don't lose this mana as steps and phases end. You want Raphael to get hit so you get more Red mana that you can use for whatever you want. This even carries over if he dies because of the damage, but it would be nice to get it multiple times.
For 60 card formats, 4 mana is a lot, but he is a threat that will force your opponents to block. That might make him usable, even if in niche scenarios. In commander, I'd say he's better in the 99. I do think he's interesting to build around, but he's mostly interesting to build around to repeatedly getting the more mana. In the 99, he can be an annoying threat to deal with, since your opponents have to block him, but he only dies if you block him with 4 or more power (or a deathtoucher) and he will generate mana from being dealt damage. Use him for more aggressive strategies or strategies that want that big more mana to cast bigger spells.
From on Raphael to another, it's Raphael, the Nightwatcher!
4 mana for a 2/3 is behind rate. Man, you had something good going! :( His abilities are:
Sneak for 3 mana, so that his statline is less bad for the mana you spend on him.
Attacking creatures you control have double strike. So that is a HUGE power swing.
This is a very simple card: use this in a strategy that wants to surprise drop lethal on your opponents. You make your opponent(s) always have to block everything, since if you can sneak Raphael in, they have to entirely change the math on their declared blockers. This goes for both 60 card and commander. I do think he will struggle in 60 card formats, but he isn't too bad if more go wide aggro strategies become popular. For commander, same deal. As your commander he's a bit less good, since he is way more telegraphed, but it is still a threat that your opponeants have to deal with.
Up next, some Ravenous Robots!
Mousers! I'm surprised they are Red though, they... don't feel like they should be Red, but rather colorless. Oh well.
2 mana for a 2/1 is a bit behind rate, but nothing too terrible. Its abilities are:
Whenever you cast an artifact spell, create a 1/1 colorless Robot artifact creature token. Ah, there are the colorless mousers. I suppose the stampede of them are Red, but the individuals are colorless. Now it makes sense. Also, strong in artifact decks, since making bodies is a good thing.
{R} and tap this card to give all creature tokens you control haste until end of turn. So this makes a particularly good pop off turn where you cast a bunch of artifacts scary since you can suddenly make all those artifacts you create immediately attack. Truly ravenous.
For 60 card formats, depends on if artifact decks are good. If so, yeah, this will absolutely be at least a consideration. The only downside is that it doesn't do anything right away, but creating consistent tokens and being cheap is great. For commander, similar story, except artifact decks entirely exist in that format and are horrifying. Get a bunch of cheap blockers and potentially turn those things lethal. Also pairs up well with Improvised Arsenal from earlier.
Last for this post, Slash, Reptile Rampager!
My boy! My... angry boy :( In this mode, he's definitely Red. If he's in his clear headed, more thinking mode, he's Green. Either way, happy to see him.
5 mana for a 7/5 is above rate, so that's nice! His abilities are:
Whenever another creature you control enters, Slash deals 2 damage to each opponent. So he starts burning opponents for every creature that comes into play from your side. Pretty good start.
Whenever Slash attacks, create a 2/2 red Mutant creature token. So he can start punching you, create a buddy that can block in his place and burn you because he punched you. Pretty great.
5 mana is probably too much for 60 card formats, especially since he doesn't do anything without outside support on the turn he comes down. For commander however... put him in the 99 of a token strategy deck and watch it become a burn strategy instead. Even as the commander, he's surprisingly okay? Red has a lot of ways to create a lot of tokens quickly, so... yeah, you can absolutely use him in the command zone.
Welp, that's Red done as well! Tomorrow, we got Green! After that, only 2 more parts and then I'm caught up with everything released so far! :> As always, thanks for reading! o/
"AHAHAHA!! With my army of Mousers you're FINISHED!"
Five seconds later...
“But they told me you were bad at fighting robots!!!”
“Got better.”
(Alex Jaffe rules giving me that last bit of dialogue. Also, yes it's been several months since getting this Cass. Yes, I still enjoy taking photos of her.).
