                                     ✱ 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒 .

                          𝘂𝐧𝐩𝗿𝐨𝐦𝐩𝘁𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝘁𝐞𝗿𝐚𝐜𝘁𝐢𝐨𝐧𝘀 .

 ▌ ❝ my dear , could you show me a bit more of your collection , i wish to see the inner organs next ----- ❞ 「 @mournmento 」

           AH,  if  it  isn't  the  ONLY  person  with  taste  around  the  Lighthouse.         Pointed  ears  seam  to  tingle  in  delight  when  this  adorable  little  wish  left  the  necromancer's  lips.        ❝ Eeeeeager,  aren't  we    ? ❞        A  hard  task    —    to  hide  the  obvious  excitement  behind  a  smug,  knowing  smirk.     ❝ Just  watch  where  you  step.  A  jar  broke  earlier   &   while  I  am  almost  one  hundred  percent  sure  I  caught  every  shard,  I  was  also  horribly  under  the  influence  while  cleaning. ❞      The  usual,  so  to  speak.

Kiki  tugged  onto  Emmrich's  sleeve  gingerly,  ushering  him  inside  her  little  Kiki-hole.  Needless  to  say,  the  taxidermist  never  exaggerated  with  calling  her  place  an  organized  chaos.  Glass  containers  stacked  up  on  the  shelves,  numerous  rodents  stuffed  up,  sharing  the  spots   &   lined  up  from  smallest  to  largest.     ❝ Careful,  that  one  fell  apart  two  times  this  week. ❞        A  hearty  nudge  against  one  of  the  few  rats  watching  over  the  bedside  table  before  the  little  elf  presented  him  her  organ  corner.

        ❝ I  have  so  many  already.  Kidneys,  hearts,  eyeballs.  PRETTY  eyeballs,  I  might  add.  A  liver  .  .  .  I  think  there  is  still  that  one  gallbladder  sitting  in  the  back  somewhere. ❞       One  would  think  she  collected  these  'items' before  joining  the  Veilguard.  However,  the  labels  seemed  fresh.  

       ❝  Anything  caught  these  pretty  eyes  yet   ? ❞

        Oh  pooooor  Kiki.       Poor  innocent  Kiki.  Just  wants  a  body  part.  Can't  deny  her  that  small  thing,  right   ?    Sniffling  so  theatrically,

       ❝  I  want  one  hand,  nothing  more.  Can  I  have  yours   ?   Pretty  please   ?   Only  the  left  ;  or  right.  Whatever  you  prefer.  ❞       Open  palms,  puppy-dog  eyes.  Put.  Your.  Hand.  In.  Her.  Palms.  Emmrich.  She  is  shivering.  Help  her.

      The  taxidermist  shared  the  stance  for  one  moment     before  neatly  folding  both  hands  behind  her  back.  A  look-over  is  what  she  gave  the  poor  fella  on  his  table.  Angling   &   tilting  her  head  to  give  a  vague  display  of  honest  interest  in  his  craft,  even  if  it  was  truly  only  primal  impatience  ;  similar  to  a  vulture  only  waiting  for  the  predator  to  be  done  with  its  business.

     ❝ Hm,  hm,  I  see.  Weeell,  Professor  Volkarin,  I  naturally  would  have  conducted  an  autopsy.  See  which  organs  were  still  in  proper  condition  for  preserving  the  remains.  We  can  still  learn  a  lot  from  a  person's  life  beyond  corpse-whispering.  Not  saying  I  am  an  art-collector   —   more  of  an  anatomy-collector.  But  who  draws  the  line  where   ? ❞     With  renewed  determination,  Kiki  attempted  a  puppy-eyed  look   (  awfully  hard  to  tell,  behind  charcoal  glasses  ) .

@mournmento : ❝ young dear kirilly , i wish to learn more about this taxidermy ... and i suppose we can better bond over the macabre of our expertise . ❞ ( he's sitting , ready to listen . such fun ! to get to know the fellow companions ............. )

        Bonding  tiiime   !       Emmrich  was   (  probably  )   the  first   (  and  only  )   to  show  interest  in  her  work,  her  hobby,  her  passion.  Hands  found  purchase  behind  herself  on  the  desk  ;  a  little  hop   &   finally  seating  herself  on  its  surface.

       ❝  There  is  so  much  to  learn   !   It's  a  lot  of  craftsmanship,  alchemy,  planning-  oh,  you  must  like  planning,  don't  you   ? ❞     Vaguely  gesturing  towards  the  wide  assemblage  of  jars  on  shelves,  frames  on  her  walls  ;  a  collection  of  specimens,  you  wouldn't  be  far  off  naming  it  a  small  personal  museum.  The  place  was  almost  cluttered   (  where  did  she  sleep  .  .  .  ) .  A  glimpse  of  golden  canines  her  grin  wouldn't   —   couldn't  conceal.
