I think we, as a society, are running low on patience. We want results immediately, but results don't show up overnight. It takes a lot of work, and a healthy dose of grit. . . It's taken me over a decade to cultivate a body that can handle just about anything physical. And I feel like it's just the beginning. . . I owe a great deal of that work ethic to my father, who is still working his ass off to support his family.
