Skylodge Peru:
We climbed up this mountain to sleep in these luxury pods. The climb was quite different, as there were rod like stairs placed in the rock and we were always attached to a steel cable. Luckily, we only experienced a little rainfall, even though the day started with some hail.
Once we got to the top, we ate delicious food and drank wine in the dining pod. Then we had a short climb in the dark on over to our sleeping pod. The best part was being able to see all the stars. This is definitely not in my budget, but thanks to a generous gift from my Dad we got to experience a one in a lifetime opportunity!
