Looking back, 2018 has been one hell of a year. Can’t wait to rip up 2019 🏍💨
My 2019 Motorcycle Resolutions
Attend more Group Rides: I joined my first group ride last year and I really enjoyed the experience. I’m used to riding in packs of 2-3 or going solo, so getting together with a band of like-minded people really opened my eyes to the diversity of the motorcycle community. With a few group rides already under my belt, I’m looking forward to learning more and meeting new friends.
Start a Flat Track/Holligan Build: I love my current bike. I pamper her way too much. She’s my baby. But sometimes you just wanna do hoodrat shit with your friends...and that’s where a hooligan build would come in. I’ve had my eyes on a few early-2000s Sportsters but the biggest hurdle will be money. But if you don’t have that problem, you don’t want enough motorcycles😜
Begin a YouTube Channel: I love this blog. It gives me a great outlet and a way to connect with other people in the motorcycle community, but motorcycling is a visual experience. You can’t ride a motorcycle and write about it at the same time. With video, you can make an immersive experience for riders and non-riders. You can take your audience with you on a road trip. You can treat your viewers in the colder states to a sun-drenched canyon run. You can connect with more riders (and more prospective riders) in a whole new way. And that’s been the most rewarding part of this blog, shooting the shit with complete strangers because we have one thing in common: Motorcycles.
Ride more!: I want to see more National Parks. I want to go to more campouts. I want to carve more canyons. I want to attend more motorcycle shows...by bike. I want to ride to more flat track races. I want to travel in a huge pack. I want to 2-up more with my lady. I want to crush more miles solo. I want to ride more!
What are your motorcycle resolutions for 2019? Do you want to get your license? Do you want a newer bike? Maybe you want a second bike.
Whatever it is, leave it in the comments!
