I’ve had Power as an oc way back when I was in middle school. He started off as a sonic oc…a naga sonic oc lol. He’s probably one of my oldest characters I’ve ever had and he’s since evolved lol but I don’t think I’ve ever imagined he’s top half to be human, at least for the face. Im curious, if Power has a uvula does that mean if something were to harm it or mess with it too much he’d gag or vomit?

Realistically that would be the case, but I like to think that he almost has a non-existing gag reflex (“almost” is the key word here). With he’s main diet being anything that moves. He’s main catches don’t always go down with one swallow, especially if you take into consideration the size and length of he’s meals. AND he’s meals often fight back or make aggressive attempts at escaping. He kinda has to learn not to gag or risk losing he’s lunch. So I guess if you did mess with it, you’d have to put some serious force and or damage to it if your trying to get him to gag or vomit. But honestly that’s not the way to go if your trying to escape being dinner, since you wouldn’t be the first or the last trying to attempt that method. Best way to get out of being dinner or if your about to be dinner, have something super disgustingly smelly with you. Most nagas in my little universe,(and especially Power), have a extremely powerful (no pun intended) sense of smell. But it is also really sensitive. So anything to over whelm their senses, and if strong enough can make them gag and even vomit.
I’ve been think about making another naga oc that spits out venomous gas and I think that would be cool as fuck but I’m not sure what kind of personality they’d have. Was thinking leaning into something more chaotic neutral or chaotic evil. Probably a mix of both or not maybe something completely different, I’ll probably make another poll or if y’all have suggestions :D
