I find it so interesting the reaction to William Afton continuing to appear in games.
It may not always be the best executed gameplay or story-wise, but the general thought of him being a permanent stain upon both the characters and the franchise is a very entertaining idea (intentional or not).
Always coming back, a figure of death and agony forever stuck as a parasite to its host in the minds of tortured souls and mourning parents.
They tell stories of him long after his sudden disappearance, a tragedy-inducing boogeyman. If not of his name and person, then his actions and the trail of small, empty bedrooms he left behind.
Untouched birthday presents still crisp in their wrapping paper, gathering dust.ย Messy beds never made. Stuffed animals fallen from their position from many quiet nights before. Toys astray and scattered on carpeted floors.
But the pillows stay cold, The blankets, The stuffed animals, Even the smell of stale air, Always a terrible, bitter cold.
In-universe and out, forever remembered, forever known no matter how many times he's "died" and "lived" as this murderous, shadowed figure; the grim mascot of Fazbear Entertainment itself.
