I like moths, and I like painting moths, and I want to get better at painting moths. So I was looking to see if I could find a Moth May art challenge prompt list kind of thing and I couldn’t find one (I’m sure they exist but anyway) so I decided to make one myself!

Really enjoy getting more of a hang of this. I esnt to spend tomorrow making bodies for the two lil guys i made that haven't got one yet. This is the elephant hawk moth. Colours look better in daylight i think.
Moth May day 8!
I’m not very happy with this one, I couldn’t get the colours right and it ended up messy, and the proportions are wonky, but such is art practice! This is the Elephant Hawk-moth in gouache, oil pastels and coloured pencils
