(oc x canon👀) the way jackie feels about ashley makes her uncomfortable. ash makes her feel things she has never felt before; things she has no interest in feeling. jackie does not have ““crushes””, ever, and definitely not for ashley campbell, of all people. they arent alike. ash is too sweet, too caring, too understanding. when they touch jackie feels the weight of the world lift off her chest. when they kiss she feels her heart race in a dangerously blissful way. ashley makes her feel just right. too right.. that its just gross. the knot in her stomach makes her sick, and jackie doesnt know how to handle it. all she knows how to do is panic and push ash away, out of fear, and of guilt. she deeply cherishes ashley, more than she even realizes, and a part of her thinks she does want something deeper than friendship. but despite what her heart wants, her brain can only wish that her feelings would go away.
