XFM's John Kennedy played Prometheus as part of their Xposure show on the 2nd January.

Most Thieves – support act Getting Most Thieves as support act was definitely worth the 3 months wait for the rescheduled The Killers gig. Sorry for being useless when it comes to remembering setlists (even short ones), but I can tell you that it built up nicely to the highlight which was Prometheus, of course. The crowd’s reaction was really good, especially if you consider that I gathered from the talk around me that the vast majority had never heard about Most Thieves before. As you can see, I met 3/5ths of the band after the gig, had a little chat, got an autograph and a photo :D The Killers This was my first The Killers gig and it exceeded all my expectations. Incredible how the concert started off with a bang (Mr. Brightside) and maintained that level till the very end. In fact, the only two a bit quiter moments I can remember were the beginning of A Dustland Fairytale and when Brandon interrupted the gig to point the security at a girl who had fainted in the crowd. Brandon had the audience under his spell from the very beginning and you could tell he enjoyed that. The biggest surprise for me was how much he interacted with the crowd. My only point of comparison is his solo gig in Luxembourg two years ago which I really enjoyed, but where there was hardly any communication with the fans. I had started queuing at around 4pm and made it to 3rd row center and I have to say it was a very pleasant crowd to be in. Not pushy at all – except for when Ronnie threw his drumsticks and when Brandon came down off the stage after the last song. But hey, that swept me closer to him, so no complaints ;) (in case you wonder, yes, I got to touch him – veeeeery sweaty LOL). The only thing that could have made the evening more perfect would have been getting four autographs on my ticket, but I’m very happy with the ones I got (Mark’s is missing). Well worth the wait, especially as they were all very nice to the fans. Oh, and Brandon still has my pen, but I guess that was a good deal :D
