Are You Blind in Every Way Possible or Just Dumb?~ Maurice Moss
[Maurice Moss x Fem!Reader]
Summary: no matter how many times you hit on Moss, he never makes a move
Warnings: Moss being stupid and awkward, pining, so bad I couldn’t even be bothered to proof read if.
A/N: I’ve never seen a moss fic so here we are
“Hey Moss. Is that a new tie? It makes you look handsome,” You wink as you walked pass his desk.
“It was a gift. I do not know where from,” he nods at me before getting on with whatever he was doing on his computer.
I shake my head. This has to be the third time today you found an excuse to be in the same room as him and compliment him. This was a daily routine for me as the guy never understood what I was doing and I was to scared to out-right confess my feelings.
I walk into to Jen’s office and dropped down the blank pieces of paper I was pretending to be important information for the Relationships Manager of the IT department.
“This is getting pathetic,” Jen snorts, “why are you trying so hard to flirt with him. I don’t know what you see in him.”
“I don’t know what I see in him either! But for some reason I always find myself want to be near that dork,” I complain.
“Then tell him. I highly doubt he’d say no,” Jen chuckles.
This time my excuse for coming down to the IT Department was so I could enjoy my lunch with Jen. I sat next to Roy on the sofa as I admired the strange man who was eating out of a pack-lunch bag.
“This is getting boring to watch,” Roy breathed, “at first it was funny watching Moss being oblivious to a beautiful woman flirting with him but now it’s just sad.”
“Oh sod off, Roy,” I roll my eyes. “Watching you attempt to flirt with obviously-not-interested women is even more sad and you know it.”
“Alright. Alright. No need to get so defensive,” Roy puts his hands up in surrender. “Have you tried using pick-up lines? They’re cheesy but they make it more obvious.”
“Yeh, Y/N,” he replied. God, he looked so cute right now.
“I like your shirt,” I smile. I dreaded what I was about to say next.
“Thanks. My mother says it looks good on me,” he says as he moves his finished lunch away from him.
“Hmm really? I think it would look better on my floor,” I wink as I try to bite back the cringe.
“What?” The man was genuinely confused by my statement, obviously not understanding my innuendo. “Are you planning on stealing my shirt. That is theft!”
“For the love of God,” I heard Roy mutter right before he yells, “Are you blind in every way possible or are you just dumb?!”
“Where is this coming from?” Moss furrows his brows.
“This poor girl has been flirting with you for the past week and has had an obvious schoolgirl-crush on you for the past month,” Roy pinches the bridge of his nose.
“You like me?” Moss asks.
“I mean I like you if you like me back,” I blush as I stand up, just in case he doesn’t like me back so I can sprint out of here.
“Yeah. I like you too,” Moss answers in a quiet voice.
There’s a minute of awkward silence before Roy’s shout “Oh for fuck’s sake! Kiss her!”
