I got the opportunity to participate in the 2017 Aggie Intern Roadshow. Ag interns from the Columbia and Jeff City area got to get together and visit the Missouri Pork Association, MFA Incorporated, Missouri Beef Council, Missouri Cattleman’s Association, Missouri Farm Bureau, Missouri Soybean Association, Missouri Farmers Care and ended the day at the Missouri Department of Agriculture. It was an amazing day of learning about different commodity groups and talking with industry professionals about agricultural issues. We also got to speak with the Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Chris Chinn and deputy director, Garrett Hawkins. Obviously Central Dairy was a final stop.... aggies can’t make a stop without some ice cream!
