30 Day Kaiju Challenge Day 29
APOCALYPTIC
Name:Equimate
Age of Origin: Awakened Ancient
Height: 100 Meters
Description: Equimate stands on four short muscular legs, with two arms of a significantly longer length, not unlike a gorilla. Each hand has three fingers, tipped with sharp claws. Equimate’s face also resembles another animals, that of a horse. It shares roughly the same shape, but isn’t as(proportionally) long. The fur covering his body is mostly red, with a darker stripe going from his head to back end.
Abilities:
Long Arms
Sharp Claws-The claws on his hands are deceptively sharp, especially once he gets a solid grip.
Strength-Equimate has strength is excess, even compared to other kaiju.
Weakness: Equimate packs a punch, with a temper to match, but he must be in an optimal position to use his strength. The length of his arms means that if something can get close enough they can avoid some of his heaviest hits.
———-
Name: Famothere
Age of Origin: Awakened Ancient
Height: 125 Meters
Description: Famothere stands on four legs, with black skin pulled taut across his body. His head rests atop a long neck, with hooked lips and small ears. He appears to be severely malnourished, with a bloated stomach, and a visible skeleton beneath leathery skin. Two large open wounds are visible on his shoulders, where he has eaten off his own extra legs.
Abilities:
Bile Bombardment-The only real weapon Famothere has, besides normal tooth Nd claw, is a potent one. He can bring the bile up from his stomach, spewing forth as a highly corrosive weapon.
Weakness: The thin, emaciated body of Famothere looks like it is easy to damage…and it is. The two shoulder wounds especially present themselves as prime targets.
————
Name: Threyja
Age of Origin: Awakened Ancient
Height: 100 Meters
Description: Threyja’s body is very similar to a rhinos, but a few exceptions. The quadruped has six stocky legs, four in the back and two in the front. A large, prominent nasal protrusion dominates much of her face, obscuring her eyes. Her skin is not just pale, but completely white, covering bulging muscle.
Abilities:
Nasal Bash-The nasal protrusion is made of thick bone, and is a very powerful bludgeoning weapon.
Conquests Crash-Using her four hind legs, Threyja can lift and move her weight around easily. Using this balance, she can deliver bone shattering stomps that aren’t easily avoided.
Weakness: Threyja has terrible eyesight. Her massive nasal protrusion combined with naturally poor eyesight leave her almost blind. Additionally, while she is fairly quick, she isn’t the most manuverable once she starts moving at quick speeds.
————
Name: Mortitherium
Age of Origin: Awakened Ancient
Height: 90 Meters
Description: Mortitherium shares a similar build to Threyja, comparable to that of a rhino. Not as gaunt as Famothere, or as muscular as Threyja, Mortitherium does not stand out from her build. What stands out about Mortitherium is her color, and her horn. Her skin and fur are pale, with a greenish tinge. Her horn is gigantic, actually two horns fused together during her mutation. Poison drips from it constantly, and the air surrounding Mortitherium is coated in miasma originating from the horn.
Abilities:
Death’s Poison-The poison dripping from Mortitherium’s horn is the deadliest poison on earth, bar none. It destroys tissue and contaminates bloodstreams, and the airborne version does the same, though to a lesser extent. Most dangerous of all, any foreign poisons Mortitherium comes into contact with are absorbed and melded with what she already possesses.
Horn-The massive horn is more than just a carrier for her deadly poison, it is a very dangerous weapon in its own right. It is fully capable of piercing kaiju flesh, and is extremely durable.
Weakness: Mortitherium is deadly just to be around, with her poison, horn, as well as her generally well rounded defense. Her main problem is what happens if something can shrug off either of her main weapons. Something immune to her poison would only have yo deal with her horn, and something strong enough to take on her horn would only have to deal with the poison. She’s not a one trick pony, and neither of the two feats are easy to accomplish, but a weakness is a weakness, no matter how small.

Backstory: Four kaiju signalled the end of the Eliptors reign over earth, and the disappearance of their goddess. These four were truly powerful kaiju, and undefeated in their time. They ravaged the planet until the great calamity that forced all remaining kaiju into hibernation, sleeping until their reserves of Kaijiation were great enough to awaken once again…
Well these four took longer than I wanted. Equimate is pretty much unchanged aside from color, but the others are all new. Can you guess what they’re based on?
