A little bit of background of the comic project "Morienus"... Until now it's the comic project I worked the most on. I often have small stories in my head and write them on paper but none were to the point to be published. For every project, there is alway a touch of fantasy and history. For "The white book of Morienus", I was searching for something that was taking place in Quebec in the early 1900s. At the beginning it was suppose to be part of a collective with a monsters or "yokai" theme. I did some research on the myths and legends of Quebec but was not able find a large variety of monsters (beside werewolves, will-o'-the-wisp and the devil). So I'm going to improvise a little. :p For the structure of the project, the first version was going to be around 30 pages. A challenge for me to plan a story in few pages. However I'm planing to review some parts of the story since I'm resuming the work. So it will be an evolving project! :)
