So one of the story ideas I have that I'm gonna ramble about is tentatively called "The Killing Moon". It's a story that will take place after both Morrowind and Tribunal and before Oblivion; and it will focus on Sharn gra-Muzgob. She's the Friendly Neighbourhood Orc Necromancer from Morrowind, and in my fanfic she ends up with my Nerevarine Telvanni OC; Veryn. The Killing Moon takes place around the Imperial City, after Veryn gets exiled from Morrowind due to Hlaalu Helseth shenanigans. Sharn follows him to the city he was born, but it's a city she's entirely new to. By then, she's replaced Ranis Athrys as the head of the Balmora Mages Guild, and she's able to transfer to a similar rank in the Arcane University, working under Hannibal Traven. The same Hannibal Traven and the same Arcane University that banished her boyfriend years ago for being involved in an accidental death - and the same Hannibal Traven that her boyfriend still holds a grudge against. The same Hannibal Traven too, that went after Sharn's mentor from Orsinium because she was a necromancer: Ulliceta gra-Kogg. Except this time, Hannibal Traven is actually looking for a Friendly Neighbourhood Necromancer to help him out, because there's rumours of black soul gems and rumours of the Necromancer's Moon... and rumours of the Worm Cult. I haven't gotten to all the fine details yet, but I know Ulliceta will play a role; possibly hiding within Frostcrag Spire. The Psijics will also show up, most probably in the form of Quaranir. Traven distrusts the Psijics, as does the Emperor, so Quaranir will have to lay low. He may, however, realise that Veryn isn't affiliated with the guild and try to contact Sharn indirectly via her boyfriend. The Orrery DLC will also play a role in the meantime because of the Necromancers Moon. Edwinna Elbert from the Ald'Ruhn Mages Guild may make an appearance, together with her Telvanni partner: Baladas Demnevanni. And yep, they know Veryn quite well. Sharn will be pulled into a ton of different directions by people that all want something from her. Her boyfriend, who's not in the most stable mental state after everything that happened to him in Morrowind. Her boss, Hannibal Traven, who pushes her deeper and deeper into forbidden necromantic research, believing that to defeat the enemy he needs to know the weapons of the enemy. There may even be a point where Sharn will end up experimenting on the bodies of prisoners (yep, that's canon) which leads to a very painful confrontation with Veryn who was incarcated in the Imperial Prison himself. Then there's her old mentor, Ulliceta, who may or may not have deeper ties to the Worm Cult (and maybe the Ideal Masters? Maybe?) than she pretends. Not to mention the Psijics in the background, who say they can't openly act yet have a lot of history with Mannimarco they never fully dealt with. Not to mention she gets pulled in deeper and deeper into more and more dangerous, life-and-afterlife-threatening events. She's seen her boyfriend walk to his death at Red Mountain. Now it's her turn.
