Day 23/31: "Morgan’s Corner"

When it comes to Morgan’s Corner in Honolulu Hawai’i. There are many stories and tales regarding this infamous road. From spooky tales of spirits and dark entities roaming around the area, to cases of murder that have occurred. One of the most well known stories, tells of a young g couple driving in this particular road on a stormy night. Eventually their car broke down and is now stuck. The boyfriend decides to venture out in the darkness to find help, while the girlfriend stayed behind. An hour or so went by, and the boyfriend has not yet returned. The girlfriend became anxious as the storm grew strong. Strange noises can be heard outside of the car. One of the noise is a constant tapping noise coming from the roof of the car…. eventually the girlfriend fell asleep. The very next morning, the girlfriend is awaken by a police officer knocking at the car window. The tapping noise from earlier was still there as the girlfriend walked out of the car. They told her to walk towards one of the police cars, warning to not look back; but curiosity got the better of her, and she turned around. Only to be met with a horrifying sight. Hanging from the vines above the car was her boyfriend’s lifeless body. Blood trickling down and dripping to the roof of the car. Hence where the tapping noise came from…
