I'm really looking forward to this:) So what's sapping your motivation?

Wollfgang, I truly am not being negative/critical/complaining (except to myself!) But how do you do this? I don't even have much of a life, and I wonder how you produce so many high quality pieces over such a short time? I was going really strong, 75% done with the next part of my first piece, but I've hit the wall of writer's block, thanks to internal angst :/

i dunno, man. There’s no secret or anything. I just have a lot of free time and really small hands that type really fast on my phone. XD and i don’t know about high-quality, because - with prompts - things are wildly unedited, quickly written and sent out into the void. so. 

Don’t forget to take breaks! I’m in a period of rare productivity right now, and then I’ll go a month without writing XD

At your point, if you’re 75% done with your story, but have hit a wall, i recommend having someone read it over. I get to a point where I’m like “this story is garBAGE why am i even writing this” and so i have to grab one of my friends and be like, please read this ugly pile of words and tell me its not awful. 

How am I supposed to finish MY freaking story if you keep putting out the awesomesauce?!? :)

First up is I’ll Keep You Safe Within My Heart, by @morganeveningstar, inspired by the prompt:

What if Chloe and Linda had managed to open Lucifer's safe? a) And found the necklace in there. b) And found something else. c) And found nothing at all, just an empty safe.

Maze & Trixie. Whenever Trixie has a question that the other grown ups in her life refuse to answer, she asks Maze. What questions does she ask, and what answers does she get from the demon?

@wollfgangsblog​, when someone asks you for a piece, do you give yourself a limit for length/time to write, or other criteria? How do you not end up turning every prompt into a large work?

it’s definitely something to contend with! I don’t give myself a limit or a set time to write, otherwise I would put too much pressure on myself and it would suck the fun out of it for me. There’s no rules, but I try to keep prompt fills at least a couple hundred words but no more than a couple thousand. (If only for readability on tumblr) Longer works get a link to ao3.

as for not turning it into a large work, that isn’t too difficult because usually theres not much plot generated in a single dialogue prompt. It’s all like…implied plot. They are just bits that could easily be used in a longer fic, but aren’t in and of themselves…if that makes sense? I usually just write until it feels like the scene has come to a natural conclusion. :D (I do have a habit of ending them with kisses, which is a bit of a failing of mine)
