lol is it obvious I love clerics - I always found it weird that canon wc only had like one or two medicine cats at a time, it seemed inefficient to see a single cat running around trying to stop life-threatening injuries post battle. lore wise, ranchclan cats just have an appreciation for plants and gardening, being a cleric is less socially isolating than it is in canon - lots of warriors have a basic understanding of first aid and a handful of herbs to keep an eye out for in the territory, and some clerics will still hunt or spar in their free time!
