The new tumblr sucks
I'm considering deleting my tumblr. Nudity, sexuality, drugs, deep poetry, and all things nsfw were important content-wise for tumblr users everywhere to express themselves and their struggles. Pretending those things are not things and banning them only increases curiosity and taboo around them.
Tumblr is not and never has been for children. Tumblr is not and never has been for the faint of heart. Tumblr is not and never has been for the easily offended. We all express things here that we need to express, honestly, safely, and as privately as we want. Things we can't post on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter for fear of judgement by people who know us IRL. Please, let us return to the old Tumblr- our old comminity- or all your loyal users (I've been here for 8 years!) will probably leave and remove their amazing content. Nobody that I know is stoked on this change.
