it’s not her best poem,  but it seems appropriate to greet him with one,  a tiny smile on her lips as she speaks.   

                                    “i do miss having a house,                                      but not quite as much as i’ve missed klaus,”   

tone adopts the measured and familiar cadence that almost always accompanies her recitation of poetry.   “i’ve come up with better but  ---  i thought a poem might be more FUN than a simple ‘hello’,”

                that seventy-three percent abyssinian gold, twenty-                 seven percent manganese, cold-molded in the bowels                 of a peruvian village with VEHEMENOUS, FRIGHTENINGLY                 DREADFUL humidity in the month of AUGUST spyglass ?

         no. i’ve never seen such a thing in my life !
