“uh, duh! i was right, ‘course i’m gonna gloat.” with good reason too. the way tyreen didn’t quite seem to believe that whatever piece of writing troy could come up with would actually work! hah! well, this time he’d done enough research--- by keeping a safe distance from their potential targets, of course, observing, making notes. writing up something that would definitely prove his sister wrong and voila--- seems he wasn’t quite so useless, after all, now was he? needless to say troy was also surprised that it all seemed to work out alright in the end, but alas, tyreen didn’t quite need to know that, now did she?

okay,  he’s a little surprised that she’s agreeing with him right now.  he’s an extremely confident man and people usually don’t reject him and he approaches every flirtation with cockiness,  but Moxxi is a special case.  every person in the goddamn universe wants a slice of her.  and honestly?  he doesn’t think he’s ever wanted someone as much as he’s wanted her.  she’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen and he wants to know more of her,  even though he knows she’s not one to open up to others.  he’s the same way--  he just does a good job of appearing otherwise.

SOFT SENTENCES // NOT ACCEPTING

“oh,  you didn’t have to do that,  gorgeous.  ‘m fine,  jus’ had a bit of a bad dream.”  so,  of course,  a natural reaction is to crawl out of bed and dip straight into the kitchen for a pint at 4 in the morning,  right?  it’d be much better to drink some water or maybe a hot tea,  but that’s too out of character for someone as self destructive as zane.  he’s not even purposely self destructive.  he loves himself more than he’s ever loved anyone but he’s attracted to danger and unhealthy choices.  Moxxi is the healthiest choice he’s made in a long time–  a woman that cares for him and concerns herself over him,  even if he was sure she wouldn’t be interested in a long term relationship when he first started shooting his shot at her.  he would have been okay with a night of fun with the most beautiful woman in the galaxy,  but this is much better.  he does feel bad for waking her up so late at night,  though.  at least she’s using his shirt to keep herself protected from the cool chill.
