A Matter of Morality
@moraelity
Another free day. A day where no one thought of him as necessary to alleviate workload. Well, that was fine, considering that he was raking in cash for his doing. With no rent to pay, he had a lot of disposable income, too much even. It made him feel uneasy, even if just a little.
So he spent some time at cafes during the afternoon, making small talk with random people and enjoying a cup of tea with snacks. It was the quickest and easiest way to get acquainted with people and familiar with the going-ons of the city. Though Ryuunosuke knew there was no way out, he still thought of this as a better way to spend time compared to sitting alone in his apartment.
Besides, he could take inspiration from the things he saw or heard. That’s always a plus.
He had taken a liking to a small, quaint café on a street corner. As picturesque as they came, which was interesting, at least the young man considered it to be. Just like yesterday, he had taken a seat with his tea and pastry of choice, eyes on the surroundings. The people who had come here were different from yesterday. Some of them looking quite plain, while others...
Others looked like they were begging for someone to come up and talk to them.
So Ryuunosuke promptly got up, and took his drink and snack to the man he had laid his eyes on. He looked to be around his age, blond hair, kind eyes and an attire that definitely wasn’t obtained somewhere in this century.
“Hey there! You mind if we had a talk or something? You seem quite lonely.”
