((I absolutely love this ship, and itâs no surprise Iâm going to write another fanfic for it. I also have been wanting to try a beach fic for awhile, I just didnât know how I was going to do it. Art and Moraa by @pebster, a great person and a wonderful artist, I know youâre going to like it! I hope you enjoy!))
Anduin has been waiting weeks for today! After a long grueling time of diplomacy, relief efforts, and boring noble parties that were just there to get goody goody with him, the day has finally come! Jaina and Genn agreed that 1 day of every 2 weeks, he could go spend it with Moraa. The couple would take turns on who got to choose what they would do together.
The last time they saw each other, Moraa got to goose, and she chose the darkmoon faire. This time was going to be different however, Anduin had planned this trip for awhile now. He knew where and when he wanted to go, as well as what supplies he needed. He wanted everything to be great, and went over everything twice, almost three times! When everything was in order, he goes over to Moraaâs place in a hurry. This was going to be a day sheâd remember!
Our couple met up in Westfall, which had been changed drastically! Ever since the fall of Darnassus, the night elves have been looking for a new home, and they were given Westfall as their temporary home. While it was a... difficult start, their expertise in nature and druidcraft helped the locals out a lot. There are even some green plants growing!
The two of them met up at moonbrook, which now looked like a functioning town. When they saw each other, Anduin braced himself when he saw a glimpse of a goldish goat launch at him. He owed Vardis a lot of thank yous.
"Moraa! Good to see you!" Anduin grunts, being beneath the holy space goat.
"My king! I missed you so much!" She exclaimed, grinning ear to ear.
"Missed you too dear. Could you please get off me? I don't think I can breathe very well down here!" He chuckled, as the last of his air exited his lungs.
"Oh! Sorry!" She lept up, pulling the young king up as well. Anduin took in a deep breath, giving his deprived lungs some welcomed Oxygen!
"It's fine. Shall we?" Anduin motioned his hand, down a new road. Moraa took his hand, and smiled. [How did I ever get with such a kind man?] She thought.
There have been new roads made, and since the arrival of the Sentinels, the Syndicate have been all but wiped out in Westfall! This road our lovebirds were on led to the beach side. There, the two were greeted by the white glistening sand, and calm waves of the sea.
The two picked a heavily shaded spot, and laid down their towels beneath it. Moraa smirked, taking off her clothes. "You know my king... this will be the first time we see each other with less clothes... don't get too flutered~"
Anduin didn't catch that, as he worked getting his shirt off. "Sorry, I didn't hear that. What did you say?"
Moraa turned bright blue, and her eyes resembled a deer in a headlight! She stared at her majesty's fine toned abs, realizing that he was truly the son of the late great Varian Wrynn (Personal headcannons: All Wrynns have great abs. All of them! It was if their family were blessed by gods!).
"Moraa? Are you okay?" Anduin looked concerned, as Moraa was just staring at him.
"Baah!" She quickly clasped her mouth shut, as she had made the most embarrassing sound her people could make.
Silence filled the air, only letting the sounds of the wave and the breeze. "Moraa... did you just...?"
Moraa contemplated about drowning right now. "Uhhh... no. No I did not." She lied, terribly. Her internal screaming only got louder (that, or Pebester screaming at her computer is breaking the walls of reality.)
Anduin laughed, causing poor Moraa to be more embarrassed. "I'm sorry! It's just, I never expected that at all!" He calmed down, and walked over to the flustered Moraa. "C'mon. Let's enjoy today."
"Okay Manduin- Anduin! Anduin!" She caught herself, and decided to just shut up. The rest of the day was a blast! The swam in the ocean, build some sand castles (Moraa's being the most impressive), and ended it with cuddling in the shade.
Moraa rested her head on Anduin's Abdominal muscles, tracing her hand around them. "Anduin...?"
"Why do I like you? What brought this up?" Anduin asked concerningly.
She shrugged, "I do stupid things, embarrassing things, and clumsy things. So why do you like me?"
"I don't like you Moraa." Anduin lifted her face up to his, "I love you. I love that you're kind, I love your innocent behaivoir, I love your sympathetic nature, I love your horns and gold markings, I love everything about you." He gazed into the draenei's eyes before planting a soft kiss on her lips.
Moraa smiled, "Thank you Anduin." She smiled, small tears falling from her face.
"I should be thanking you. I don't know what I'd be without you."
With that, the two laid together under the shade. They watched the waves crash onto the beach, knowing full well how much they mean to each other.
