one of the things that sticks out to me most in my aborted gameplay of pathologic 3 (sorry, the game crashed 2 times, my PC is simply not built for this) is how much visual stuff they brought back from p1! the infected districts are back to being this sickly green (the visual effect that was responsible for crashing my game, how very pathologic of it), daniil has his silly little spyglass thingmabob again, and when you talk to characters, the camera lurches them to you in nauseating fashion. it's cute! i appreciate it. i look forward to trying to talk to clara while the camera is stuck in alexander block's chest <3

would you guys support me if i got really into pathologic again

i mean i unironically think that the c0dex entry pathologic videos are a stellar audiobook version of the bachelor's route. like my issue with the analysis (or lack thereof) in them is that they almost completely support the bachelor's view which i think is Bad because well. put diplomatically i think a lot about him is worth challenging but this also creates a very engaging performance. every one of the voice actors she got puts their whole pussy into it, especially the actor for daniil. the videos aren't really essays to me but they're very good to listen to.

fucks me up that when i got into pathologic i was clara's age. And in a deeply pathologic way, she is eternally 15 (??) years old and 12 days old, trapped in a neverending play that she understands but cannot escape, while I theoretically learn and grow and change and am definitely not trapped in any ways the game would seek to comment on

trying to think about pathologic is like pulling on a thread of a tapestry please i cannot try to rescue this game from its own misogyny and racism when the misogyny and racism are so often The Point

creating a pathologic presentation for sam and wow it really is fun that daniil is all about resisting the powers that be and destroying the Law that is death and yet he's so enamored with the power that the 3 families hold. he wants to break illogical systems down but his first instinct is to run to these authority figures for help
