Ooooo probably the hannigram prequel fic I have going where Hannibal and Will meet in the 90s while Will is still living in New Orleans. It’s the most detailed planning and research I’ve ever done for a fic and it’s almost definitely gonna be my longest

I went in with low expectations that were not exceeded cus I have pretty much lost all faith in shows to have a good final season 😭

ooooooo you could honestly go either way I read it before I watched it but you definitely still enjoy the movie without the context the book provides
the main differences is the book is much more science heavy and I would say has heavier moments but also more lighthearted moments, like the writing style itself is hilarious
and it also just has more detail, both on the science side but also on a lot of other contextual/background stuff
I would personally say read the book but both are so incredible you honestly can’t go wrong
