(yes it's a pun, yes I think I'm funny)
I was going to do a bigger thing for @sparkbirdmusic's birthday, but it didn't work out, so instead I've finished two smaller things in the last few days.
Happy (late) birthday to the person who reawakened my love for birds!
Have a Bicoloured Antbird, because I think they're neat. His name is Bartholomew.
Also this Circlemaker inspired thing I did a while ago and finally coloured
The numbers inside the big circle are a part of the third of the Beale ciphers, which are a series of three ciphers that allegedly describe the way to a big treasure. It can only be solved with the help of a specific text, and only the second one, which describes the contents of the treasure, has been decoded by using a version of the USA's Declaration of Independence. The third one, which is the one in the picture, is allegedly a list of the treasure's owners and their next of kin.
I choose that one because a cipher encoding a list of names, encoding people and family connections, that is completely incomprehensible unless you have the right key, felt fitting to the song.
The cypher at the bottom of the page is a simple pig-pen cipher, the key can be found in the smaller circles. It says: "you are but a cupher, you are the circlemaker"
In the part of the hat that is within the big circle is also the word "Sparkbird", but mirrored
Idk mostly I just felt like doing something with ciphers
