i watched lake mungo for the first time a few nights ago while working. i really liked it but i think my heart is always going to hurt a bit whenever i think about it now
#the More i think about it one could say#not sure ill ever get over the atmosphere and how real the dialogue felt#the pacing was so interesting too#i know the focus is mostly on The Scene. also. which yea the slow movie long build up to it was great#but theres a sense of sadness i feel whenever i think about [character]#to live and never be known even in death. i kinda want to tear something.#ive read a lot of good discussions about it tho... will see if i can manage dissecting one more 'horror' b4 oct ends..#also the more i dive into old horror and thrillers i sit there and go 'huh'#cuz i can see the inspiration for more modern ones in a good way (ie Hereditary) its interesting#moon talks#moontv#lake mungo
