I live in Amsterdam and the city is working hard to deal with the homeless people in this almost lockdown situation. Extra places to sleep, places for quarantaine and places to hang out in the day. We need lots of space because of the distance rules. First I was volunteering just in the food distribution, but today was my first day in the quarantaine facility, and it is very intense, sad and exhausting, but rewarding nonetheless. This is our outfit (this is my boss over there). All I want to say is, if you have a house, stay inside cause the suffering is truly awful to witness.
