Sooo... about Goretober!
It’s still going on and I ain’t throwing in the towel! However, I think this year I’m gonna have to take it easy and basically post on some days where not only I have the time, but feel inspired too. And here are my reasons...
1. My work. My job. Literally takes my time and energy away. By the time I’m home, I have no energy at all to think about the next Goretober. Bleh...
2. I’ve noticed that I’ve been forcing myself to continue on with Goretober. And eh... that ain’t good to me. You see, when it comes to artists, they gotta draw out that amazing inspiration and creativity! And by god it feels so amazing to do that! Cause that’s what an artist does! They make out that inspiration in their head, and bring it to life! However, forcing that creativity does nothing. It’s like... putting yourself to work, and it doesn’t seem right. Art takes time and inspiration, and forcing it out will not help at all, and eventually, they won’t come out as you want it to be.
3. LOADS OF OTHER IDEAS HAVE BEEN FLOODING MY HEAD!! And as much as I wanna draw them, I feel like Goretober has been blocking me from what I really wanna draw. Not to mention, other fun activities with my good pals that don’t involve drawing! Like come on, I can’t always make time to draw! I wanna be free and be with my lovelies! Also, I gotta practice my Halloween makeup and get my costume together! I’m pretty sure you’re all gonna love what I got in store for my Halloween. 😏
But anyway, those are my reasons! Hope you all understand, and just know in haven’t exactly quit on Goretober. Just need time and inspiration. Thank you! ^^
