❝ jace. ❞  it’s cold, the windows are fogged up, & there’s a moment when he finds himself immersed halfway between the Then & the Now. they are in manitoba, but they are not at his father’s house. they are far from his mother’s home. they sit in his truck, the one he’d gotten on a loan a few months ago, & it’s nearing nightfall as he reaches over to place a warm hand over one of jace’s cold ones. he hasn’t drawn any constellations yet, but they are ready to see stars.
