I think the main reason why so many men are anti feminist is because of men's egos (no shit but I'm getting somewhere) they're completely unable to understand that "Men" as a social class and "man" (the thing they are) are not the exact same thing. We can tell them all about how men are more violent and benefit from their position in society in ways they don't even notice but the whole time there's a little voice in the back of their heads going "but i haven't been handed anything, I'm different, I'm not one of them I'd never abuse my power" but that's just fundamentally false. They are unable to live in a world where they are a man, while also acknowledging all of the pain and suffering that men cause. Don't get it twisted, this is exactly the mechanism that keeps this whole machine running, that little voice defending your ego is the same one that will use the power you have whenever you're backed into a corner, it is the same voice telling you that you're better than everyone else, that women are beneath you

I did watch episode 9 of TADC and I enjoyed it and liked it, I probably won't post about it because I feel like I can't really engage with it in good faith because of some personal baggage
