I have had a lot of fun so far and I am greatly pleased with myself. I wish I could put as much effort into all the prompts as I did for the first two, but I was quickly humbled by the one drawing a day time frame. I have so many ideas for little animations and longer comics based off these.
I am also enjoying drawing Sesshōmaru this much, it gives me time to really figure out how I want to stylize his features. I want it to become second nature and perhaps at the end of YuMay, just that will have happened.
I try really hard to make him look Japanese, and showcase his asian features of a monolid, a profile that isn't overly pointed/sharp etc. I'm mixed myself black/white and have pretty 50/50 blend of features myself. Curly hair, tan skin, creased eyelids etc.
Day 7: Fan Kid
This was rushed, but I have mulled the idea before so I wasn't running on nothing. I don't have a name for the baby yet, but I do have some lore— it's not fully developed yet. And....some people might really hate me for it soooo....anyway— I tried to indicated time has passed since my dyed hair is grown out.
I think it was strange that Tōga and Sesshōmaru's true demon forms are big dogs with FLOPPY ears yet Inuyasha got small pointy ears more like a Shiba/Akita dog. With that in mind I gave our child ears that are floppy.
