Shinzo Abe's assassin, Tetsuya Yamagami, constructed a homemade gun after the Moonies church defrauded his family for their entire life savings, a story too common in Japan until the assassination. Shinzo Abe was, in addition to being far right, tightly tied to the Moonies cult and directly supported them as Prime Minister. Following the assassination Yamagami was immediately arrested but the public widely recognized his assassination as a good move and following it sweeping legislative changes were made to hamper the cult. Of note, due to Japan's strict gun control laws, Yamagami home built his weapon, including partially 3D printing it, truly demonstrating the will and ingenuity of humans to buck oppression.

United Healthcare CEO's assassin targeted the ceo for reasons plainly obvious to all Americans across the political aisle. Speculation was made that this was a professional hit but coming evidence continues to make this seem unlikely. The assassin so far has not been caught. Additionally he carved Deny, Defend, Depose onto the shells of his bullets, plainly conveying the political and personal nature of the assassination. The consequences of this assassination haven't been fully felt yet but other health insurance companies are already beginning to reverse policy decisions in light of the new landscape this brave man has stepped onto.

Breaking News: Special Counsel Raids Police Agency Over Unification Church Probe Cover-up Allegations

The second comprehensive special counsel, tasked with examining unresolved allegations following three earlier special probes, has launched a compulsory investigation into police over allegations of covering up a probe involving the Unification Church.

"The comprehensive special counsel is currently conducting search and seizure operations at the Korean National Police Agency, the Gangwon Provincial Police Agency, and the Chuncheon Police Station in connection with allegations of covering up the Unification Church investigation," the special counsel said Thursday.

The core of the allegations is that police were aware of suspicions of overseas gambling by Unification Church executives but failed to investigate, instead leaking the matter to political circles to bury it.

When allegations of overseas gambling by church executives surfaced, Unification Church headquarters chief Yoon is suspected of having the matter suppressed with the help of Jeon Seong-bae, a shaman known as Geonjin Beopsa.

In June 2022, the Chuncheon Police Station is reported to have obtained information that Unification Church executives, including Chairwoman Han Hak-ja, had gambled approximately 60 billion won ($43 million) at casinos in Las Vegas between 2008 and 2011. However, signs later emerged that intelligence related to the police investigation had been passed to the church, raising suspicions that the probe was derailed through the intervention of a "Yoon key aide," a core associate of former President Yoon Suk-yeol.

A recording was also released in which Yoon Young-ho, the former head of the Unification Church's world headquarters and considered the No. 2 figure in the church at the time, discussed the investigation with an acquaintance. In the recording, Yoon said, "A 'top-ranking official' mentioned the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act. He told me to prepare as a search and seizure could come," and "A 'Yoon key aide' informed me about the police's investigation. I reported it up the chain."
