Moongazing. A noodle boy looking at the perfect orb... the moon.
Ink pens, white markers and watercolour pencils for quick shadows. Brown paper, postcard size. 2 hours taken as this was quite sketchy.
Every time the moon becomes full up in the sky, Igris always finds a nice spot to watch her. He talks to her as if they are old friends, telling his stories and adventures...
And keeps it so till he eventually falls asleep.

This is a real photograph captured using a technique called telephoto compression (or lens compression).
Hereβs how it works:
A telephoto lens (long focal length, e.g. 300mmβ600mm) is used.
The photographer positions themselves far away from the subject (the Opera House, in this case).
Because of the long focal length, the Moon (which is actually quite small to the naked eye) appears much larger relative to the building in the frame.
