Moodive: "Innocence"
I first listened to Moodive a few months back and was pretty intrigued by the mixture of styles being pursued by this young new artist. His first release Passio, was seemingly subdued in comparison to the newest sounds coming forth from this 16-year-old producer. "Innconcence", from his newest ART EP is one of those new efforts and it's an exhilarating track filled with life from start to finish. After the song's creeping intro, it jumps right into to thick of things with a devastating melody and relentlessly chopped vocal samples. The beats are absolutely perfect and hit with great percision. In the break you can here the words "don't settle" echoed out, which is a great statement to make as a young experimental artist, who i don't think is settling in the least.
