Waluigi (Real Name: Waluigi Pompeii [in this AU]) (Super Mario) (Role: Miles Edgeworth) (New Info) 

- Waluigi is a renowned prosecutor who finds himself embroiled in an Interpol investigation into an international smuggling ring. He’s kinda like Edgeworth but he's more egotistical and proud of himself but became more serious and more responsible ever since he first met his old rival/classmate in highschool turn defense attorney, Marie Mendoza, in their first trial battle. He is now involve in his own adventures and the start of new investigations, new obstacles and new challenges after his disappearance. 

Katherine “Kate” Morgan Jones (My OC) (Role: Detective Dick Gumshoe) (New Info) 

- Katherine, or Kate for short, is a hot-tempered and loyal but well-meaning and serious police detective who assists Waluigi in his investigations. She is in an  open relationship with Elmo Sputterspark (Megavolt) (DWD), meaning they can date other people outside of their relationship, even if other people think it’s absurd but it’s ok with the both of them as well as others, that also includes Waluigi, who happens to be her substitute date/boyfriend whenever her (first and actual) boyfriend is away, out of town, or other. 

Mozenrath (Real Name: Mozenrath Calar Adabii [in this AU]) (Disney Aladdin TV Series) (Role: Franziska von Karma) (New Info)

- Monzenrath is Waluigi's adoptive cousin, nephew of the late veteran prosecutor Jafar Adabi (Disney's Aladdin) (Role: Manfred von Karma), as well as a fearsome prosecutor in his own right. He is currently working with Interpol to take down a smuggling ring. He too also was defeated by Marie Mendoza during their first trial battle

New Characters: 

Ann Takamaki (Panther) (Persona 5) (Role: Kay Faraday) 

- Ann, also known as Panther, is a young girl claiming to be an infamous thief known as the "Yatagarasu". She also assists Waluigi via her gadget "Little Kitty Thief" (Little Thief), which can create a virtual reconstruction of a crime scene. She is very kind, sweet, curious, cheeky and compassionate girl, enough for it to be noted by both Waluigi and Kate. While making observations about crime scenes, she often points out how valuable some of the objects are, and sometimes jokes and comments about stealing several of them, much to Kate’s and Waluigi's distress. However, she makes it clear that the only thing she is really looking to "steal" is the truth. She idolizes her best friend, Ren Akira (Joker) (Persona 5) (Role: Ron DeLite) and seeks to become a "Hero of Justice" like him, which manifests in her sheer determination. She strives for a world in which the court system is sufficient to deal with all criminals, thereby making the Yatagarasu obsolete. Ann is a great fan of the Pink Ninja and thinks her show is far superior to that of the Silver Samurai. Waluigi feels at times that Ann would prefer to be a ninja rather than a thief. She is apparently somewhat messy but well-mannered, as she admitted to always keeping her room tidy. The Yatagarasu's Badge that she wears is hand-made.  

Yao Wang (China) (Hetalia Axis Power) (Role: Shi-Long Lang) 

- Yao Wang is an elite Interpol investigator who has the highest successful arrest rate out of all Interpol agents, mostly due to his methodology of "ask questions first, arrest later". He is well-known for his mass investigation tactics using a large team of 99 subordinates. However, he was relieved of his authority over his officers following his controversial handling of the arrest of a mole within his ranks. Yao Wang comes from an ancient and once revered family in Zheng Fa, descended directly from Wang Zi, whose philosophies helped to shape the country into what it is today. For a long time, the House of Wang held great power and influence over Zheng Fa's law enforcement; Wang family members were commonly seen in top positions in law enforcement institutions, and the family even operated a training school for police officers. The family had particularly strong ties with President Di-Jun Huang of Zheng Fa, who employed Bai-Lin Wang (Role: Dai-Long Lang), Yao's father, as his head bodyguard, and even entrusted his will in the family's care. The esteem that the Wang clan enjoyed came crashing down after the events that were later referred to as the "SS-5 Incident", in which Huang was kidnapped and held for ransom, despite Dai-Long personally heading the president's security. Although the president was seemingly returned unharmed, from that day forth it seemed like he was an entirely different person, and he cut all ties with the Wang family, using private bodyguards instead. Bai-Lin was demoted, but in an attempt to make amends, he took it upon himself to continue investigating the case. Although a suspect was apprehended, namely Granny Smith (MLP) (Role: Patricia Roland), the owner of the orphanage from which the president had been kidnapped, she was acquitted due to the corrupt Chief Prosecutor Claude Frollo (Disney Hunchback of Notre Dame) (Role: Blaise Debeste), who tampered with the evidence. Bai-Lin resigned and the Wang family name was tarnished and lost its once high standing. Due to these events, Yao held a personal grudge against prosecutors, seeing them all as being just as corrupt as the prosecutor who had destroyed his family's reputation. Yao is overwhelmingly serious, overall caring and shares a strong bond of mutual loyalty and respect with all of his subordinates, seeming to know each of them on a somewhat personal level. He even went as far as giving one of his officers a birthday present for one of said officer's relatives. He is generally very calm, cold, and determined to do things his own way. He has even defied other authority figures on occasion in his dedication to chasing down his target. He sees his subordinates as his own responsibility, as shown by his willingness to take a bullet in the leg in order to apprehend Alexis Kaye (Punchline) (DC) (Role: Shih-na) alive himself, rather than let Alan Cooks (Almond Cookie) (Cookie Run/Kingdom) (Role: Tyrell Badd) shoot her. On the other hand, he is very respectful to those who have earned his trust. Yao's determination is complemented by his high pain threshold. As mentioned above, he was shot in the leg trying to apprehend Alexis alive, but he returned shortly after taking into custody, and continued on as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Later, he caught Monzenrath's cane whip with his bare hand, although he did get whipped a short time later. Yao has a vindictive hatred of prosecutors because of the actions of Claude Frollo, which ultimately ruined his family. He devoutly follows the teachings of Wang Zi, whose philosophies call for a “ask questions first, shoot later" style of detaining suspects. Yao arrests anyone he can, and then lets the courts sort out whether his detainees were guilty of their crimes. His justification for this is that no one is truly innocent, so even innocent suspects may be getting due punishment for an unrelated mishap. Some have called these tactics too intense. While Yao's academic intelligence is little match for that of a veteran prosecutor like Waluigi, he knows how to do his job effectively. He thinks quickly and then acts swiftly (and sometimes quietly) to get his way as soon as possible. These street smarts combined with his consent tactics make Yao a formidable, fearsome foe for the criminal networks of Zheng Fa. Yao's officers have an unceasing dedication to their jobs to match Yao's own, and with their sheer numbers, they can thoroughly comb over large areas such as theme parks with frightening speed. Yao frequently recalls metaphors and other quotes from Wang Zi, which grow increasingly vague as time progresses. He also dons a pair of eyeglasses, which he occasionally wears upon entering a crime scene or area, then dramatically removes. True to his last name, Yao has owl-like mannerisms; wisdom, calm and aggressive sometimes. 

Alexis Kaye (Punchline) (DC) (Role: Shih-na) 

- Alexis was an Interpol agent acting as a secretary for Yao Wang. Alexis was Yao's closest subordinate, usually following him in his investigations and fetching various documents for him, though occasionally she would take over part of an investigation if the area to be combed over warranted such an arrangement. In reality, "Alexis" was merely a cover for an anonymous spy and skilled defense attorney working for the Cohdopian smuggling ring, who previously went by the alias "Punchline". Punchline, an employee of the Armano Group (a financier of the ring), threatened to testify about the smuggling ring's activities. However, Greg Patton (Role: Manny Coachen), a top agent of the ring, killed her, and he was arrested and sent to court. The spy then claimed to be Alexis’ elder sister "Kelsey" and watched as Patton received a not guilty verdict thanks to the actions of an Armano Group employee. Prosecutor Harvey Dent (Two-Face) (DC Batman) and detective Alan Cooks saw "Kelsey" give a great wail of despair as the verdict was read, and they decided that they would have to take the law into their own hands to take down people like Patton. At first, "Punchline" blew off their attempts to talk to her, but when they began their vigilante thefts against the smuggling ring, she was ordered to join in their activities as a mole. Thus, the three created the persona of the Great Thief Yatagarasu, who exposed the ring's links to various companies over the next three years. Each member had a "special skill" to contribute, Kelsey's being the ability to find out where the target of each heist was thanks to her connections to the companies that came with her job. However, the mole ensured that the Yatagarasu would never actually find the ringleader. Three years after Alexis’ murder, Harvey Dent infiltrated the Cohdopian Embassy and stole a special key that opened a safe containing incriminating documents against Greg Patton; it could also be converted into a knife. Since he had come so dangerously close to the leadership of the ring, Calisto was ordered to silence Faraday and retrieve the key. Additionally, an employee of the embassy, Steven Fawkes (Role: Deid Mann), was threatening to reveal the ring's secrets, just as Alexis had done, and Punchline was told to silence him as well. Punchline hired a hitman, Floyd Lawton (Deadshot) (DC) (Role: Mack Rell), to kill Fawkes, but he was caught on camera and arrested for the murder. Punchline took on Lawton's case, and she told Lawton that she would give him an acquittal in exchange for accusing Dent of being the Yatagarasu. However, during the ensuing recess, things went sour again when Dent dragged Lawton over to Defendant Lobby No. 2 of the District Court to interrogate him. Punchline entered the room pretending to be worried about the situation, and then she took the key and stabbed Dent with its knife aspect, killing him instantly. She then had Lawton assist in tampering with the crime scene, and she had Lawton play the security video containing Patton's murder footage and turn the volume up to maximum. She then proceeded to shoot Lawton with his gun and rearranged the crime scene to make it look like Lawton and Dent had killed each other. Meanwhile, Cooks suspected that something bad was going to happen, so he summoned rookie detective Kate Morgan Jones to guard the lobby. Punchline met them in the hallway and took Cooks to Defendant Lobby No. 1 to have a talk. Twenty minutes later, she spilled her perfume intentionally, causing Cooks to open the window of the lobby and hear the gunshot from the security video. Believing that a gunshot had occurred just then, Cooks rushed to Lobby No. 2 to find the two bodies. Rookie prosecutor Waluigi Pompeii took over the investigation of the double murder, and his demeanor immediately came off as hilarious to Punchline. While he was questioning the people in the hallway, Greg Patton arrived and took Punchline outside to speak with her. When she came back, she claimed that Patton had taunted her using Kelsey’s death, in order to hide their real conversation topic. She found that the deaths had been proven not to have been simultaneous. Punchline then argued with Waluigi, attempting to Kate as the killer using the judge's testimony of watching Kate's movements from a washroom window. However, Waluigi argued that Kate had no motive (knowing Kate, she wouldn’t hurt a fly, unless if it’s self-defense). The spy was next assigned to Interpol agent Yao Wang, who was closing in on the ring's activities due to their detrimental effects on his home country of Zheng Fa. For this purpose, she took on the name "Alexis". While she performed her assistant duties to Yao, she fed crucial intel to the smuggling ring. Seven years after the murder of Greg Patton, Yao flew to Los Angeles to track down Ernest Armano, the CEO of the Armano Group, in Gatewater Land. There, Alexis again saw Waluigi, who was investigating a kidnapping at the park, as well as Ann, A noticeable phantom thief, who has a "Little Kitty Thief" device. The kidnapping turned out to have been faked, and the "victim", Ernest's son Lance Armano, was found to have committed murder while staging the kidnapping. Ernest was arrested for his role in covering up Lance's act. Meanwhile, Alexis devised a plan to steal Little Kitty Thief from Ann. Faba Kalos (Role: Quercus Alba), the ambassador of Allebahst, was the leader of the smuggling ring, and he noticed that Greg Patton was trying to betray him, so he had Alexis cooperate with him to make it look like the Yatagarasu had killed Patton as the leader of the ring. To this end, Faba sent the Yatagarasu's calling card, and Yao's team was subsequently placed in the Allebahstian Embassy as Faba's bodyguard. Faba then killed Patton, smuggled the body in a cart to the rose garden in the Allebahstian Embassy, and placed the cart in a pool in the garden. Meanwhile, Alexis set the neighboring Babahlese Embassy on fire, so that the firefighting effort would drain a nearby pool, which was connected to the pool in the rose garden. Alexis floated down to the bottom of the pool as it was being drained, and she collected the cart on the other side. Faba then refilled the pools to allow Alexis to return to Babahl and plant Patton's body in his office. Faba then went to his own office and fired two crossbow bolts attached to wires from his window into Patton's office, With Shih-na's help, he used these wires to switch the two Primidux Statues, as the Babahlese one had counterfeiting plates hidden inside it. Shih-na proceeded to burn the counterfeit bills in Patton's office, causing another fire in Babahl. During the fire, Ann spotted the disguised Alexis, who, seeing her chance to take Little Kitty Thief, escaped back into the office and then moved to an adjacent room through a secret passageway. Ann gave chase, and then she spotted Patton's body in the office, at which point Alexis re-entered the office and apprehended her from behind, accusing her of the murder. However, Waluigi arrived on the scene and shot down Alexis' accusation in another argument. Later on, Waluigi suspected Alexis herself as Patton's killer, as her movements prior to apprehending Ann came into question. Waluigi soon discovered that she was, in fact, "Punchline", and his arguments placed her at the crime scene. Punchline/Alexis laughed and thanked him for giving her a thrill to top even the one from seven years earlier. She then taunted Ann into getting closer to her and she grabbed her as a hostage in an attempt to escape. Alan Cooks suddenly appeared and moved to shoot her, but Yao intervened, freed Ann, grabbed Punchline/Alexis and was inadvertently shot in the leg. He maintained that  Alexis was still his subordinate, and thus obligated to protect her from harm. As she was being taken away, Punchline/Alexis dropped what appeared to be two hair sticks. Ann made to return them, but Punchline/Alexis told her to keep them. Her parting words for Waluigi were that she had killed no one that night. After she had gone, Cooks told Waluigi that "Punchline" never existed, and that she had been a mole in both the Yatagarasu and Interpol the whole time. The hair sticks later turned out to be the crossbow bolts used in the exchange of the Primidux Statues and proved to be vital in Waluigi's case against Faba. As her job required her to change her personality and appearance, it is unclear what of Punchline/Alexis was real and what was an act. During her career as an Interpol agent, Alexis always acted alongside Yao, with a consistently calm and collected demeanour during investigations. In fact, she showed few outward signs of emotion at all and would rarely speak unless she was properly addressed. Yao and Alexis seemed to have a strong bond of trust, although Alexis was very likely only using Yao. As Punchline, she was very self-conscious of her appearance, reapplying her makeup countless times even in the heat of an argument and has a bit of a dark sense of humor. She was usually calm and confident otherwise, doing what she set out to do with efficiency and intelligence. Punchline/Alexis was also prone to fits of uncontrollable laughter at inappropriate times, breaking her usual stoic countenance completely and, as Alexis, giving her away. Waluigi's overall demeanor (mainly his sometimes serious facial expressions and style of speech) and Monzenrath's behavior with his can whip triggered this laughter frequently, much to the annoyance of both. Kate commented that her laugh sent chills down her spine, and Waluigi agreed that when Punchline laughed at serious statements, her laugh was creepy. Her hysterical laughter seemed to be the only consistent personality trait between her created personae, and so it may be the only part of her true personality that she allowed to show explicitly. On the other hand, there are some indications that Alexis’ actions were not driven purely by Faba's orders. While she acted on orders to kill Ann, she has admitted that it was hard for her to bring herself to kill him. Moreover, she gave up her "hair sticks" to Waluigi and disclosed that she wasn't the killer and that Patton wasn't the true leader of the smuggling ring, which eventually led Waluigi to Faba as the true mastermind. 

Almond Cookie (Real Name: Alan Cooks [in this AU]) (Cookie Run/Kingdom) 

- Alan Cooks was a homicide detective in charge of the various investigations of the "Great Thief" known as the Yatagarasu. Cooks was a detective for many years, overseeing a wide variety of cases and earning a great deal of respect from fellow detectives such as Kate Morgan Jones. The bullet holes in his trench coat represent the sheer danger of his job. His role in catching the Yatagarasu ended when he testified in a trial that he was, in fact, one of the three people who actually constituted the thief. In December 2000, Alan was put in charge of the case of David Geer (Role: Jeffrey Master), a famous television chef who had been accused of murdering a fellow chef during a confectionery competition held at his mansion. Jack Johnson (Role: Rip Lacer) was in charge of the initial investigation, but prosecutor Jafar Adabii replaced him with Cooks on the field, though Geer was still allowed to do the interrogations. However, Jafar limited Cooks’ ability to investigate, and instead investigated much of the area himself, much to Cooks’ annoyance. Soon, Giovanni Pompeii (Role: Gregory Edgeworth), Geer's attorney, arrived. Although Cooks initially distrusted him, Pompeii's honesty and logic impressed Cooks, and so he helped him investigate the scene. Over the course of their investigation, the two discovered a number of peculiarities in the case before Giovanni encountered Jafar for the first time. After some debate, they went into the victim's room to find that his entry for the competition had disappeared. Jafar soon kicked out both Giovanni and Cooks. This was the last straw for the detective, who decided that he would fully cooperate with Giovanni. Cooks gave the attorney access to information on the investigation and helped with verifying various discoveries. He even helped Edgeworth meet with Master and give the latter chocolate from Lacey Froster (Role: Katherine Hall). Cooks’ assistance eventually got him into trouble with Jafar once Giovanni deduced that the body had gone missing rather than being taken into custody. Jafar took Cooks off the case and later went to court with a forged autopsy report to refute Pompeii's claims. The trial lasted a year until, as one last favor to Giovanni, Cooks managed to produce a recording of Geer being threatened into confessing. Although Jafar was still able to convict Geer as an accomplice to the murder, the recording earned Jafar the only penalty in his long, otherwise "perfect", career. Cooks was a tough veteran detective, having covered many cases in which his life was at risk, evident from his bullet hole-filled trench coat. He took his job seriously, feeling great guilt for Kelsey's death. Cooks was good friends with Dent and treated Ann like they were blood relatives, to the point of keeping a close eye on her Promise Notebook while it was in evidence lock-up. Despite this, he had little patience for people he felt were wasting his time, and he didn't appreciate being forced to take a backseat to those less competent than he was, as seen with his treatment of Waluigi and Monzenrath. If he felt his time was being wasted, he would ignore the individual and simply look at himself with his hand mirror. As such, Cooks was not overly fond of Waluigi at first, calling him "Eggplant Boy" and "Purple Kid". However, Waluigi's determination and logical prowess eventually earned him Cooks’ respect. Cooks keeps a hand mirror inside his trench coat, and he often pulls it out as if pulling out a gun. The mirror is also Cooks’ way of making sure who's behind him at any given time. Additionally, despite his gruff demeanor, Cooks seems to have a sweet tooth. What at first could be mistaken for being a cigarette constantly sticking out of his mouth is, in fact, the stick of a lollipop. Cooks speaks with pauses in the middle of his sentences, but stops doing so once he pulls out his lollipop, implying he is only doing so because he is sucking on his lollipop, rather than for dramatic effect. Cooks has his own philosophy about the law and what justice means, which often puts him at odds with his job as a detective. He often disobeys his superiors if he feels they aren't upholding the law, and will tend to side with those who can instead bring him closer to the truth.
