Hello to everyone in support of Transfeminist Action! We know it's been a long time since the last post and we thank you for your patience. Our organization has grown a lot in the past few months so we have a lot to share. Here is the first of our monthly updates.

Main TFA Updates

Server growth Since our first post, the server has grown to 300+ members! We're still looking for more people to join — the more support, the better.

Collecting evidence The server has been working together to collect any and all instances of transmisogynistic moderation by Tumblr staff. At this current stage of our initiative, one of our key goals is to gather as much evidence as possible.

Organizing committee We've recently formed the TFA committee — a dedicated team in charge of specialized tasks for organizing and moving our initiative forward, such as server moderation and legal communications. Speaking of...

Legal contact We've just met with a lawyer for legal consultation prior to taking any legal action.

The Future of this Blog

From this post onward, we will be posting an update once every month. If you're unable to join the server but have questions for us, we will be opening the inbox for Q&As in the near future.

If you are interested in volunteering your time, we're currently looking for more people to help collect evidence, moderate the server, or manage our Tumblr and BlueSky.

Pheuw! It's been a busy but productive month post-campaign. If you're one of our Kickstarter backers, remember to check out the longer version of this update over there. Late pledges close on the 7th of June, which means there's still a little under two weeks left to back us on Kickstarter and join in on the KS-exclusive fun!

GOALS FOR 2026

The next few months, we're focusing on a content update for the demo. More scenes, more sprites, and an extensive update to the GUI. We're also going to improve save/load times, and tackle some other feedback we received from our demo players. Development's not perfectly linear though, so as we work on the revamped demo, we'll also be working on the game as a whole!

MAY PROGRESS

Our art team has been incredible. Chester and Rouwan have finished almost all of the "mandatory" side character & monster designs (what we consider the bare minimum to do the story justice), Cameron finished the missing BG for Lazarus's lounge (see the start of this post), and Chester's even gotten started on the secondary sprites and extra outfits for our main cast.

At the same time, Cherry finished the 4 animal companion sprites (designed by our backers) for Abraxas, Edgar, Raoul, and Zeno.

Our public updates are not always going to be this packed (as we're saving most of it for our KS backers), but we wanted to share a lot of what we've been up to this month after being so quiet on socials! Hi everyone!

February feels like such a short month, but lots of it was in preparation for March, which is absolutely jam-packed with activity! Hope this month has been kind to all of you. Happy lunar new year and Ramadan Mubarak to anyone who celebrates!

As of March, I also started my sabbatical year, so here's to hoping I get lots more time to write and make games and be outdoors :)

Chapter 7 update was publicly released on 14 Feb, which brings the entire National Doubles Championship arc to a close. 🎾

Merry Crisis

Finished the Merry Crisis Visual Novel extended demo (well, music's not done and there's a bit more play-testing and polishing left to do)

The extended demo will be released on Mar 6th!

JULY 16TH.

So, what do we have so far? I finished the first scene of Chapter Two (cheers!) for both Lena and Hak, toggled some descriptions on Personnel, and added some values over places I forgot on the first update LOL. Since you guys will have to play through Chapter One again (sorry about that), I took the liberty to fix as much code as I could to make my life easier down the line since I want every small choice to matter (it'll come to bite me in the ass later).

Naturally, I'll keep working on Chapter Two, as well as Richard's scene back in Chapter One. I started to write it, at least on Lena's route since... well... 👀... you can flirt, lol, and we're getting there, slowly but surely. I didn't work on the special yet, though I plan to launch it with Chapter Two so you guys will have enough content for August/September. On the first week I may still have a lot of time to write, but after that college will take my soul and cook it with onions and garlic, so you guys can imagine, rs.

For now, that's all I have to add! The first scenes combined give a total of 12k words, so by this I suspect the final length will be longer than Chapter One (that had around 13k words for each route, with small detours depending on the clues you've got and which character you're playing).
