When Nobody was first 'discovered' in the first world, so to speak, A few gods got together and decided to make something to make sure Nowhere didn't get to big. That Something, or rather Someone, is Somebody, who lives at the very edge of Nowhere, Somewhere. It's easier to end up Somewhere with Somebody than it is nowhere with Nobody, though this is sometimes Desirable, and Sometimes not. Somebody Knows knows almost as much as Nobody Knows, but is far far more fickle, and is much more likely to send off a potential Nowhere seeker than they are to point in the 'right' direction, so to speak.
Somebody's relations with Nobody are... complex, but appear to be almost entirely one sided. While Somebody seem completely focused on Nobody, ranging anywhere from complete infatuation, to a burning rivalry, to a deep bitter hatred, Nobody seems to be only vaguely aware of Somebody's presence half the time. In regards to their job, Somebody's got to do it... and since they were made for it, Somebody will.
Somebody’s Appearance changes often, as they tend to mirror whatever person is speaking to them-- Though they appear to be fond of appearing as a cat of some sort. Regardless of their appearance, any specific details are hard to pinpoint... Except for the eyes. Once you Somebody in the eyes, you’ll never forget what they look like.
OBEDIENCE & BOONS:
Despite their rather tumultuous nature, Somebody always seems to have someone devoted to their cause... of... just sort of. Being There. Their vague nature actually lends them far more power than most realize, though those that have chosen to attempt to 'cash in' on said power often find their power slightly underwhelming in comparison to the things Somebody has done. After all, Somebody could do it better. As a result, half of Somebody's followers are merely here out of spite, to be honest. It is this focus on how they do compared to everyone else that continues their drive to obtain more power from Somebody.
Obedience: Do something that you've seen someone else do before. You can never repeat this action for an obedience again. The action must take at least 1 minute to complete. Afterwards, contemplate how many people have likely done what you just did, and how well you did compared to everyone else.
Benefit: Gain a +2 Sacred Bonus to Initiative
Boon 1: Somebody Might Know - Gain Heightened Awareness 3/day, Build Trust 2/day, or Voluminous Vocabulary 1/day
Boon 2: Somebody Is Here - A follower of Somebody is present without being present. Once per day, You may make a Disguise Check to become completely average. Gain a +5 Sacred Bonus on the check. While disguised, anyone that looks in your direction must make a Sense Motive check at a -5 Penalty to detect you even being there. This penalty is negated if you are somewhere you're not supposed to be according to the person making the check. Any sort of action that would 'break character' of being entirely ordinary (Drawing a Sword, preparing a Spell) will also negate the penalty.
Boon 3: Somebody's Going Somewhere - You may cast Gate 1/Day. However, this cannot be used to summon any creatures. Instead, anyone that passes through the Gate gains Planar Adaptation tuned to the location the Gate is going to. Additionally, if the person passing through the Gate is a follower of Somebody, All organisms that encounter the person on that plane will view the follower neutrally, any inherently aggressive organisms ignoring them as though they weren't there. Finally, a follower of Somebody may immediately choose to take 2 WIS and INT Drain to instead travel to Nowhere. The Planar Adaptation and Non hostility effects only last for a Week, or until Somebody Going Somewhere is cast again-- going Somewhere else.
