(( This is a passive event active on the blog until part 2 of the monster event is posted!
While active, a pervasive mist has started to creep from the ocean across the mainland. When interacted with, it brings minor visions and hallucinations that can range from a whisper of a familuar voice to the faded outline of a figure forever just out of reach. It does nothing other than cause these visions, and they seem to have no discernable source. No monsters or people or...anything at all. Is it really just your mind playing tricks on you? Or something more? Possibly!))
((What is a passive event? For this purpose, it's an ongoing status you can choose to interact with it or just mention it in passing or ignore it altogether! This is the first part of a two part event coming later that will be much more...in depth :) You do not need to interact with this event to take part in part 2, this is just for fun.))

((This event is going to be active for the foreseeable future as this blog is going under a temporary hiatus while I undergo major surgery. As seen in my previous post, Chi is currently in a coma and can not be interacted with via questions until part 2. He may be featured or mentioned on other blogs still though!))

General mothmen personality traits, I'm very curious of your interpretation!
Here are some general traits seen in Mothmen!
Each one is not the same, as personality differs between them; but here are some you can find in common with them!
They are nocturnal by nature, but some can be up during the day (while not being happy about it most of the time.) Harsh light will hurt their eyes, so many take to using sunglasses.
They do make sounds when experiencing high emotions. Squeaks, Chirps, trills all vary from different mothmen. If you become close to one, you may notice a low chittering tone coming from them. Its usually used as a comforting sound for most!

So last year for Hallow’s Eve I held a monster event, unfortunately since the blog was purged that means there are no more spoopy headcanons left. To curb this travesty I’m holding a Monster AU! event for all October.
From October 1 - November 1 I will only be posting asks pertaining to a Monster AU! You can send headcanons, drabble requests, or even reactions. Just state your monster of choice! I will also be writing a whole insert for Halloween day, remember to take the poll in order to pick the character.
