Look at this dramatic asshole.
Dennis lives in a dystopian universe, where infected shapeshifters are labeled as extremely dangerous. After years of peaceful protest, rising tension between infected and the military police has lead to something of a civil war. Dennis and his friends are caught in the middle of it, as they try to fight for their rights to be treated like human beings again.
