Although I’ve followed @pixiwoos and @pixiwoo religiously for the last 10 years, you wouldn’t be able to tell just by looking at me, because I normally don’t wear any makeup. And until about a year ago, I also didn’t give much thought to skincare and just put on a moisturizer every day because my skin is so dry. But after 10 years of dealing with autoimmunity, and quickly approaching 40, I’ve noticed that my face can’t rely on good genes anymore, and needs a bit of extra support. So I’ve been on the hunt for a good illuminating primer or CC cream to brighten up my daughter of Dracula morning look for the past couple of years. (I refuse to wear foundation.) - Enter my latest two attempts by Hourglass (Mineral Veil) and Charlotte Tilbury (Hollywood Filter). Another thing I learned as I got older, is that it doesn’t pay to skimp on good cosmetic & skincare products, as your body will end up paying the price. Gotta be gentler on yourself. So after many years of avoiding the flood of makeup palettes on the market, I decided to splurge on the #desertduskpalette by Huda Beauty and this gorgeous purple #monoeyeshadow by Urban Decay.
